School Uniform
We extended a warm welcome to our very smart and uniformed little people in August. A big thank you to all parents for your continued support of our school uniform policy.
Parents often ask what uniform children need for school so we have outlined this below to help.
Our children's uniform consists of the following:
- Grey school skirt/pinafore/shorts/trousers
- Navy jumper/cardigan or navy sweat shirt with school motif
- White school shirt/blouse or white polo shirt with school motif
- Blue and white school summer dress (optional)
- Black shoes (preferably not trainers)
- Navy blazer with school badge (optional)
- Navy and white school tie
- Indoor shoes (trainers are not suitable). Children are asked to bring indoor shoes (black gym shoes) to change into during the school day. It helps us keep the school clean but more importantly it enables our children to sit on the floor for activities without fear of sitting on muddy footprints.
PE kit for gym lessons
In the interest of health and safety we ask that children bring the following to school for PE lessons. Thursday is PE day for most classes during 2007-2008. Each class also has one other session of PE each which will be notified via the Keep in Touch Book/Planners:
- Shorts
- T-shirts
- Rubber soled sandshoes (heavy training shoes are not suitable).
Special occassions
Many parents favour the sweat shirt and polo shirt. However, we ask that children their shirt/blouse and tie on special occasions such as official outings, church services, photographs and school assemblies.
Name tags
Parents are urged to name all items of clothing, lunch boxes and water bottles. The mountain of lost and unnamed items is incredible at times. This will help us keep it smaller than Ben Lomond this year.
