Parent Helpers and Volunteers

In previous years, many parents have expressed an interest in volunteering to help in activities at the school. One off opportunities for volunteers are typically sought through the School newsletter or PTA as required for school parties, outings or activities at times throughout the year.
However, some regular volunteering is also possible in the form of Parent Helpers and TOPs volunteers on a more regular basis as outlined below.
TOPS volunteers
TOPS after-school club teaches new skills and social interactions to children, divided up into different age groups. Can you volunteer just one hour a week to give our children the opportunity to have this kind of fun and to get active. You do not have to be sporty or have past coaching experience. Training workshops and on-going support and assistance are provided for all volunteers.

Parent helpers Thursday morning group

We are very fortunate to have a small group of parents whocome to the school on Thursday mornings to help with a variety of tasks. It is very relaxed and sociable with tea and coffee. Tasks are not classroom based but help us organise classroom materials and displays.
If you would like to come, just join us in the GP Room of the school at 9.00am on Thursdays. It doesn't have to be every week – just when you can manage is fine. We welcome any new mum or dad volunteers.
