Emergency Closure Procedure
As we are now into that time of year of winter snow and rain, we have made a number of arrangements to cover any emergency closure of the school. The efficiency of the system was checked in early January with a trial run. For a closure during the school day, we ask all parents to familiarise themselves with our Emergency Closure Plan as it stands.
Further Development
We aim to work with the Parent Council to devise a more efficient emergency closure system in time. However, as we could be in for some bad weather, the above system as been put in place.
Nominated Emergency Contact
Parents should ensure they have completed and returned an Emergency Contact Slip to notify the school of who has permission to uplift the children if need be during an emergency closure. We would welcome this returned as soon as possible and that the school is notified promptly of any changes thereafter.
